There was a time not long ago, 6 years maybe, when skirts were my thing. I had so many midi & maxi skirts that I wore to work regularly. Then I put on a few L bees. . Capris got popular and they became my Jam. I gave away so many skirts that I wish I had some of them back to wear now. It’s true that fashion comes and goes and years from now capris will be out of style or called something else. . For example: Bermudas were called ‘clam diggers’ years ago. Do you remember them? Then there were Pedal Pushers – pants that were usually worn about knee length, but no shorter. They were more casual than capri pants and were first introduced as sportswear for women to be worn while pedaling a bike (hence the name). Whether capris go out of style or not I will be wearing mine til the zipper breaks.
My largest shopping haul is at end of summer sales, because in my neck of the woods summer temps hover around 10 months of the year and I’m not complaining! I’m a tropical flower that does not wilt in the summer & cannot thrive in cold temps. . . The top I am wearing here, was a clearance rack purchase from Macy’s last year and made its first appearance on the cruise in May. I paired it here with my old white jeans that I have had for 3 years & shoes that live under my bed in a box for more than 5 years. Yes. . I am a shooze addict not looking for a cure!
